The Score
10Green Measures
The 10Green Score is a number from 0 - 10 that indicates the relative health of a location.
To calculate the 10Green score, the reported levels of the 10Green Measures (see the list on the right) are compared to the corresponding 10Green Standard Level. If fewer than 20% of the measurements are dirtier than the standard, the measure is considered healthy. The score calculation uses a year's worth of measurements within a 100 mile radius of the selected location.

The 10Green Score is the total number of healthy measures.
In some cases a 10Green measurement is a category (for example, "Other Pollutants"). In this case, the 10Green measure will be reported as healthy as long as there are no sub-measures that are at the unhealthy level and there is at least one sub-measure with data.
