Air Quality Forecast

This page shows the latest 48-hour air quality forecast maps for the continental U.S. from the NOAA-EPA National Air Quality Capability system. Users can choose the Map Area (United States, Northeast, or Northwest), Variable (Ground level Ozone or Fine Particulate Matter), and Initialization time from the selection menus. The forecasts can be animated using the buttons and slider above the map. The forecasts update twice daily for model runs beginning 0600 and 1200 UTC.
